Alien Frens is a community driven collection of 10k randomly generated NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. The goal of this project is to build the biggest group of frens in the Metaverse. One "Alien Fren NFT" provides not only an awesome PFP and a lifelong frenship with 10k other Frens, but a ticket to IRL events, Invasions, Exclusive Merch, Comic Books, and the $FRENS Token.
Many prominent members of the NFT community have purchased Alien Frens including Gary Vee who purchased 40 Alien Frens including one of the rarest 1 of 1 Frens, and crypto celebrity Andrew Wang, who made his Twitter profile picture the special Alien Fren designed for him by Mason during their 12 days of frens.
All 10K Frens were minted within 24 hours of the initial sale.
At the time of writing this, 4 days after launch, Alien Frens has done $4 million (1,000 ETH) in secondary sales.
Keep up with Alien Frens
Assisted with the generation of the metadata using proper formatting of metadata so that the traits of each individual token could be recognized by OpenSea.
Smart Contract Development
Developed a smart contract for the collection including a pre-sale purchaseAllowList function that allowed the team to give 5000+ addresses the ability to mint the project ahead of time.
Executed hosting all artwork and metadata on IPFS and tying the smart contract to this hosted metadata so that each token was linked to its respective metadata and artwork.
Front-end development of ReactJS web application for whitelist and minting page that connects to smart contract.
